This privacy policy will explain how Authentic Waves uses the personal data we collect from you when you use our websites and services that are provided by Authentic Waves or brands that are part of Authentic Waves.
Your privacy belongs to you and this is why your privacy is of great importance for us. Therefore, we want to be clear about how we collect, store and process your data. We only use your data if you gave it to us and we only use it to connect with you, to inform you or serve you otherwise in the best possible way with our services. The use of your data is your personal right and you therefore always have to right to retract your permissions.
When subscribing to our newsletter you give us your name and email address. We store this in our email marketing software. We use this information to send you informative or marketing related newsletters depending to the service you applied to. To stop using your data for sending newsletters you can unsubscribe from the newsletter with the unsubscribe function provided at the bottom of each newsletter.
When you contact us via the contact form, we store your name and email address on our mail server which is explicitly not the same as our email marketing software. We use this data to get back to you.
When you want to listen to a track we offer, we serve you with the Push.fm smart link tool by RouteNote. This tool enables you to connect with your preferred DSP (Digital Service Provider) (e.g spotify, Apple music). This tool registers amongst others your IP address, your device type, your browser type and the DSP you opt for. For optimizing the user experience of our website design, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (https://about.google). When you visit our website, Google tracks your visit by storing your browser type/version, operating system used, referrer URL, IP address and time of the server request by using cookies.

When you want to watch a video on our website we offer you a plugin from YouTube, part of Google. When you start a YouTube video, YouTube will be notified by which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

We make use of the Spotify player on our websites which is provided by Spotify. The plug-in makes it possible to establish a direct connection between your browser and Spotify’s server. As a result, Spotify receives the information that you visited our site with your IP address. If you do not want Spotify to be able to allocate the visit of our websites to your Spotify user account, please log out of your Spotify user account while visiting our sites.
